WSU Dad’s Weekend 2018

We love Pullman, and we love fall in Pullman. Have you walked through campus lately? The weather is beautiful and the leaves are gently falling from the trees. There is a walkway outside of Abelson Hall, toward Thompson, that is absolutely gorgeous with orange and red leaves on the trees and huge Russian Sage plants along the sidewalk. It is absolutely beautiful. Have you noticed the maple leaves outside of Cleveland? They’re golden and HUGE. The colors, the smell, and the nice weather; it’s all a sweet free gift of nature. It’s the perfect weather for Dad’s Weekend and the WSU football game! Interesting trivia fact:  WSU Mom’s prefer flavored lattes while Dad’s prefer their plain coffee black. Seeing all the Dads’ with their students and family is something we look forward to every year. It never, ever,  gets old! Looking forward to the weekend, the football game, and seeing all the wonderful Coug Dads, Moms, and students!

Welcome! We love food… and coffee, and friends, and community! Mike and I love the people we come into contact with and the wonderful friends we’ve made over the years. We also love recipes.  And why not? Sharing food and drink with friends and guests is such a special part of life; it unites us, makes us happy, and creates warm memories. This little corner centers on food, community, recipes, family, and anything else that’s happy and warm and fuzzy. I’ll be sharing new and old recipes that I love, as well as talking about friends and  community. I’m so glad you chose to stop by and we’ll talk again, soon!
